Data Migration Specialists – Core Banking Transformation (Multiple Roles, Remote)
Location: Remote (North America preferred, occasional client onsite)

About Us
We are a fully remote consultancy specializing in everything data and analytics, especially core banking transformations. Our team supports banks and credit unions as they migrate from legacy systems to modern platforms such as Temenos Transact (T24).
With multiple ongoing and upcoming projects, we are expanding our team and hiring for several roles — including lead and supporting Data Migration Specialists. Individuals who can potentially own delivery streams, and who will focus on reconciliation, scripting, and validation. These roles are critical to ensuring our clients achieve seamless migrations with full confidence in their financial and operational data.
The Opportunity
You’ll join a dynamic transformation program where accuracy and reconciliation are everything. Depending on your experience, you may take ownership of an entire migration workstream, or contribute to specialized areas such as reconciliation or ETL scripting. Across all roles, you’ll collaborate with client stakeholders and internal teams to deliver accurate, validated, and compliant migrations that keep core banking operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities (Lead & Supporting Roles)
Lead Specialists (Transformation / Reconciliation):
- Own end-to-end data migration workstreams, including planning, design, execution, and cutover.
- Engage directly with client leadership to align on scope, risks, and delivery strategy.
- Oversee development of extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, ensuring scalability and performance.
- Guide reconciliation strategy, ensuring that financial balances and transaction history match between legacy and target systems.
- Lead and mentor supporting analysts/engineers.
Supporting Specialists (Migration / Reconciliation):
- Develop and optimize SQL Server (T-SQL) scripts to support extraction, transformation, and load processes.
- Participate in data mapping, cleansing, and validation exercises.
- Execute reconciliation activities (both financial and non-financial), providing reports to demonstrate accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with cutover planning, mock migrations, and defect resolution.
- Document technical steps, test results, and reconciliation outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
- Core skills: Strong SQL scripting (MS SQL Server), data migration experience, attention to detail in reconciliation.
- Domain knowledge: Prior experience in financial services, ideally with core banking systems (Temenos Transact/T24, Fiserv DNA, WealthView, Ovation, etc.).
- Reconciliation focus: Familiarity with financial reconciliation and data integrity checks, a focus on diligence and quality.
- Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with both technical and business teams.
- Flexibility: Comfort working in remote environments with occasional client onsite visits for workshops or go-lives.
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with Temenos Data Migration Toolkit, Load Tool, or DM Utilities, JQL.
- Direct involvement in large-scale core banking migrations (legacy to modern).
- Experience optimizing large data loads for performance.
- Knowledge of compliance, audit, and governance considerations in banking data migrations.
- Broader ETL tool experience (Informatica, SSIS, etc.).
- Additional scripting/automation skills (Python, PowerShell, C#).

As a Report Developer, you will be helping our customers implement and extend Business Intelligence solutions. This may include analysis, design and development of a variety of reports using the best technology to fill the need.
We specialize in work with the Microsoft BI stack, so the ideal candidate will possess a wealth of experience with Azure, PowerBI, Fabric, T-SQL, SSRS, SSAS and related technologies. We specialize in banking data which means it is vital that you have extensive knowledge and experience with security best practices.
Accountabilities Will Include:
- Implementing business intelligence for our customers. Configuring and customizing third party solutions and designing new ones;
- Developing new content on top of the BI platform you will be implementing. This content can be SSRS reports, Cubes, data extracts, data visualizations, OData services, KPIs and more;
- Working with customers to refine requirements;
- Testing, documenting and supporting the delivered solutions;
- Travel will be required.
What You’ll Need:
- Experience with MS Fabric + PowerBI
- Experience with the Microsoft SQL Server stack 2012+, including T-SQL DML/DDL, SSRS, TFS;
- Experience with large data sets and the ability to optimize your code;
- Experience with the development of Stored Procedures and Reports;
- MS SQL Server 2012+ experience;
- Solid understanding of entire development process, including specification, documentation, quality assurance, debugging practices and source control systems;
- Strong analytical skills required to solve and model complex business requirements is mandatory;
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction or supervision;
- The ability to get things done.

As a BI Developer you will be helping our customers implement and extend BI solutions. This can include everything from integrating data into the Data Warehouse to developing content such as reports and cubes on top of it.
We specialize in work with the Microsoft BI stack, so the ideal candidate will possess a wealth of experience with T-SQL, SSRS, SSAS and related technologies. We specialize in banking data which means it is vital that you have extensive knowledge and experience with security best practices.
Accountabilities Will Include:

- MSSQL Server 2012+ experience;
- Solid understanding of entire development process, including specification, documentation, quality assurance, debugging practices and source control systems;
- Strong analytical skills required to solve and model complex business requirements is mandatory;
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction or supervision;
- Several years of experience in a complex data warehouse environment, hands-on experience with a data warehousing project, experience in a full life cycle Business Intelligence development project including implementation, tuning and support;
- The ability to get things done.
